As the President of South Africa – President Nelson Mandela- once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. “It is indeed a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations. As always, the motive of Nyasa Junior Academy is to not only pursue academic excellence, but to motivate and empower our students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers and productive members of our society who will have a strong component of cultural and moral values, environment awareness and be physically fit.

The uniqueness of NJA is its ability to transform the struggling learner into a wholly developed and independent individual. Our friendly, fantastic environment is a haven– a home away from home– for all our learners, irrespective of race, colour, creed or religion.

It is, therefore, my aim to continue building on the secure foundations and current achievements, ensuring that our school is forward thinking and ambitious within a supportive and safe environment. Having the experience of teaching all age groups, I believe I will continue giving our children the desired and appropriate guidance throughout their primary years. To sum up, our educational system will continue to be the envy of most independent and maintained schools.

Together with my team, our resourcefulness and compassionate solicitude will be demonstrated for all our children. Please continue supporting us by bringing the children early for classes and ensuring that their homework is done.
